As both
Bengal Cat Breeders and Foundation/F-1 Bengal Cat Breeders
Deity Cattery is dedicated to breeding healthy, happy, and
well-socialized kittens that will become important members of your
family. Here at Deity, we are blessed to share our lives as
Filial Bengal Cat Breeders/ Early Generation Bengal
Cat Breeders with our Asian Leopard Cats as well as with
our SBT Bengal Cats. As in ancient times, we feel that our
lives are enriched by the presence of our most beloved cats. None
of our cats or kittens are caged, including our Asian Leopard
Cats. All of our kittens share in our daily lives as they are
raised underfoot, in our home, with us. We spend a lot of time
interacting and playing with our kittens. All foundation/filial
kittens are bottle-fed in order to make sure that they will make
sweet and loving pets. We involve our teenage daughter, and three
young children in the bottle-feeding and socialization process. We
feel that exposing the kittens to our children and other animals
during the critical socialization period (2-9 weeks) ultimately
helps them have an easier transition into their new homes.

Deity
Bengals and Chausies is a small, in home, USDA
Licensed Cattery. We breed Foundation – SBT Bengals.
Deity Cattery’s focus is on Bengals, and Asian Leopard
Cats. We also breed Silver Bengals and Chausies.
As a USDA licensed cattery, we breed Asian Leopard Cats (ALC’s).
We have Asian Leopard Cat Kittens for sale occasionally. We
are Early Generation/Foundation Jungle Cat Breeders/Jungle Cat
Hybrid Breeders( Chausies.) We do have F-1 and F-2
Chausies available from time to time.
A short
explanation of Bengal Terminology
“Foundation
Bengal Cats” (F) are also called “Early Generation Bengal
Cats” or “Filial Bengal Cats.” “SBT” or “Stud
Book Tradition” cats are Bengal Cats that are at least
four generations from the Asian Leopard Cat. We specialize
in being an F-1 Bengal Cat Breeder. The parents of an F-1
Bengal Cat are Asian Leopard Cats crossed with a domestic
4th generation, or later, Bengal Cat. The F-1
Bengal Cat is thus one generation removed from the Asian
Leopard Cat.
We have
recently changed our vaccination protocol to follow the latest
American Academy of Feline Practitioners (AAFP) recommendations,
which states that the first vaccination should be given after twelve
weeks of age. All of our exotic, hybrid, and
domestic kittens will be wormed and examined by a veterinarian,
prior to leaving our cattery, to assure that they are in the best
possible health. Kittens can be shipped as early as 9 ˝ weeks for
Foundation Kittens and 10-12 weeks for SBT Bengals:
depending on the readiness of each individual kitten. All of our
Foundation/Filial Bengal Kittens are litter-box trained and eat
regular cat food, just like the SBT Bengals. (See
information under “DemiGods” – “F-1 Care.”)
